My final project at Moscow State University of Printing is dedicated to the work of William Caslon. It consists of 2 parts, 1st part — typeface, revival of Caslon with different optical sizes and (!) with support of Cyrillic. Second part summarizes my research and gives an overview on historical aspects, existing revivals and describes my version of this typeface. I wrote text and designed a set of 2 brochures (one about history, another is a specimen) and a double-sided poster, which acts as it’s packaging.
